Adept Surgical Limited is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

This accessibility statement applies to the Dermafocal iOS Application and the associated website.

2. COMPLIANCE STATUS

The Dermafocal App is fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

We rely on native Apple iOS Accessibility APIs (SwiftUI) to ensure robust compatibility with assistive technologies.

3. ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES

The App has been built to support the following iOS accessibility features by default:

  • Dynamic Type: All text within the App resizes according to your system-wide font size settings (Settings > Display & Brightness > Text Size).
  • VoiceOver: All buttons, images, and navigation elements are labeled for the VoiceOver screen reader.
  • Color Contrast: The App supports both Light and Dark modes to ensure high contrast and readability in different lighting conditions.
  • Reduced Motion: We respect system settings to reduce animations for users with vestibular motion sensitivity.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the ‘accessibility regulations’).
